The MVC architecture in Struts

 MVC is an abbreviation for Model-View-Controller.

The Model is responsible for handling database interactions with the Controller. This is the Database layer.

The View is responsible for displaying content on the web browser. This is the Presentation layer.

The Controller is responsible for performing the necessary tasks based on user action.  This is the Business layer.
